Police arrested a Texas outlaw on the Lone Star State’s 10 most-wanted list Tuesday in Los Angeles. He’d posted an Instagram video of himself showing off his arsenal of weapons.
Officers arrested Christopher Ricardo Gonzalez, 18, after Dallas authorities tracked his location to a Los Angeles suburb. A police dog helped take him into custody around 2 a.m. Texas officials had supplied Los Angeles police with the fugitive’s GPS coordinates after spotting his Instagram post.
Authorities say the fugitive, known as Little Chris, has ties to the Bloods. He’s wanted on suspicion of murder, robbery, and a string of home invasions.
Police tracked Gonzalez to a rented Chevrolet SUV in Woodland Hills. He and another man tried to flee in the vehicle when officers arrived, but crashed into a telephone pole. Both men ran, and a police dog tracked them down shortly after.
Gonzalez remained in a Los Angeles jail Tuesday, awaiting extradition to Texas.
