Now it’s getting chilly outside, all we want is to find someone we fancy so we can snuggle under blankets and drink hot chocolate.
Hot chocolate is a couple-y drink. It’s warm and cosy and made for sharing with someone you love.
So it makes sense, then, that one man used a cup of the stuff to propose to his girlfriend.
We’re not just talking about any hot chocolate, mind you. Matt, from Baltimore, proposed to his girlfriend, Stefanie, with a special type of hot chocolate – the one with a blossoming marshmallow flower served at Dominique Ansel Bakery.
Matt tucked the engagement ring inside a marshmallow, waiters added that marshmallow to the hot chocolate they served to Stefanie, it bloomed, and voila – the ring was hidden inside.
As you’d expect, Stefanie was pretty pleased.
