What’s the best thing you’ve ever done for your pet? Plenty of people love their pets, but few spend a fortune just to make them happy. Kristi Lyn Goss is one of those rare people — and it landed her in trouble.
Goss, a 44-year-old woman from Arkansas, pleaded guilty before the court. An audit of her county credit card use revealed she’d illegally spent government money to buy her dog a tuxedo outfit. Goss works as the administrative assistant to Rick Davis, the Garland County Judge.
Other items she bought with the $200,000 on her county credit card include sequined throw pillows, a diamond bracelet, and pet insurance. The judge fired Goss shortly after, and she’s set to be sentenced on November 22. Surprisingly, the way Goss dressed her pug has earned her a lot of support from Twitter users.
