We often think of theme parks as kids’ territory — roller coasters, themed lands, cartoon mascots, and family fun. But not every park sticks to that formula. Some aren’t rated PG at all. We’ve rounded up the best theme parks and attractions built strictly for adults. Enjoy.
Chambers of Horror – Atlanta
Atlanta’s Chambers of Horror is an extremely disturbing haunted house — the kind that gives you nightmares for years. Artists Luke Godfrey and Rene Arriagada created it. Both worked in Hollywood on shows like The Walking Dead.
BH Mallorca, Spain
BH Mallorca is a brand new, adults-only water park — and it’s fantastic. It opened in 2015 as an offshoot of the brand’s Ibiza resort. The park features 656 suites, adrenaline-rush water slides, a 360-degree human roller coaster, and twice-weekly sets from famous international DJs. It impressed the Sunday Times so much that their 100 Best Holidays 2015 list declared: “the genius who came up with the concept of the first adults-only waterpark deserves a knighthood.”
