45-year old Aaron Huntsman a Connecticut State Police officer has been busted after the officer was exposed stealing money and jewelry from a deceased motorist from the accident scene. The former police officer was charged with third degree larceny and tampering with evidence, by a Larimer County judge after he entered a plea deal on the charges.
Huntsman had been arrested back in 2012, after the department conducted an internal investigation into the theft of the missing jewelry and money from the body John Scalesse, after he had been kilt in a fatal motorcycle accident.
Authorities released a statement stating : Huntsman was a trooper based out of the Bridgeport and was one of the first respondent’s on the scene of the horrific accident. Deputies believe that he acted as if he was assisting the now deceased man, but in reality he was robbing the man of $3700 in cash and jewelry which he hid in his police cruiser. Luckily the dash-camera was on a captured the whole event .
